A short privacy notice for a short site.
No dark patterns. No legalese-by-the-pound. If something here is unclear, email us and we'll fix it.
What we collect
Form submissions on /contact (name, work email, company, role, scale, message), basic server logs (IP, user-agent, path), and aggregate analytics (page views, country, no per-user identifiers).
Why we collect it
Inquiry forms feed our inbox — we read each one and reply. Server logs are operational. Analytics tell us which pages are useful enough to keep maintaining.
Where it lives
Form data is stored in our internal CRM (hosted in Singapore). Logs live with our hosting provider. Analytics is self-hosted Plausible — no third-party cookies, no fingerprinting.
What we don't do
We don't sell data. We don't run ad pixels. We don't subscribe inquiry submissions to a marketing list. There is no marketing list.
Retention
Inquiry submissions: 24 months. Server logs: 90 days. Analytics: 12 months aggregated. Active engagement records follow the contract retention clause (typically 7 years for regulated clients).
Your rights
Email privacy@tracefox.dev to access, correct, or delete your data. We respond within 5 business days. We do not require a notarised request — that's lawyer theatre.
Cookies
We use one cookie, set by our analytics, to deduplicate page views. It contains no identifier. The first time you visit, the consent banner asks you to accept or decline; your choice is stored in localStorage and respected on subsequent visits. You can clear the choice at any time via your browser's site-data controls.
